Picture: George Lang at Wiedenest (Germany) (1950)
George Henry Lang (1874–1958) was an English Bible teacher, author, and biblical scholar. Lang was influenced by the writings of G.H. Pember, C.H. Spurgeon, A.T. Pierson and George Müller.
It was said of Lang that he had the greatest grasp of Scripture of any man living in his days.
Lang was a very close student of the Bible and an independent thinker. He was not prepared to take traditional interpretations unless he was personally convinced that they were right.
